A pop-up where art and gastronomy merge
From 19 March to 4 April,
the Brussels restaurant humus x hortense will temporarily move into the Bernaerts auction house in Antwerp.
Humus x hortense wants to immerse guests in Antwerp in an intimate table d’hôte experience with more than 10 different dishes from the “Early Spring Menu”.
It is an artistic exchange between the creations and botanical drinks of Nicolas Decloedt and Caroline Baerten, and a selection of the most beautiful works from the Bernaerts auction collection.
The musical scenography, personally curated by Peter Bernaerts, pays tribute to all the Belgian musicians who have performed on the Bernaerts Platform.
A thrilling collaboration that elevates all the senses and invites wonder.
The culinary journey of Decloedt-Baerten is served among works from the famous Vanthournout II collection (with works by Panamarenko, Veranneman, Antonio Segui, Roberto Matta and others) and museum-quality art by Thierry de Cordier and Guillaume Bijl.
Guests literally dine in the middle of the Bernaerts Museum Gallery.
